Coach Lovejoy was a 4-year letter winner and 2x captain of the men’s lacrosse team at Rutgers University. While at Rutgers he was instrumental in guiding the program to 2 NCAA tournament appearances. He was named team MVP, was recognized as a Scholar All-American, and was selected as a North-South Senior All-Star.
As a high school coach, Lovejoy has been named Skyland Conference, Group IV, and New Jersey Coach of the Year. He has directed programs at Watchung Hills Regional High School (2011-2018) and Somerville High School (2019-present) that have won conference, section, and state championships.
Lovejoy has mentored numerous All-State and All-American performers, including multiple New Jersey positional players of the year. Many of his former players have gone on to enjoy successful playing careers at the collegiate level, and professionally. ‘
Coach Lovejoy has served as the vice president and president of the New Jersey Interscholastic Lacrosse Coaches Association. He is also the current president of the New Jersey Lacrosse Foundation, a member of the NJ Lacrosse Hall of Fame selection committee, and the Area Chair for USA Lacrosse New Jersey, North.
Coach Chris possesses an impressive background spanning over 20 years of coaching experience and sports program management. A well-known figure in the Central Jersey lacrosse community, he has served for nine years as a Coach and Director for the Hillsborough Junior Raiders Lacrosse program, and also dedicated three years to coaching the Hillsborough Middle School team. In addition to extensive involvement with club lacrosse teams across Central Jersey, Coach Chris has coached various high school sports for over two decades, ensuring a deep, diverse, and long-standing commitment to athletic development and excellence.
Kendall Smith is a former Division I lacrosse player and current Occupational Therapy doctoral student at Tufts University. She earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Hofstra University, where she competed at the Division I level for all four years.
A native of Hillsborough, New Jersey, Kendall was a four-year varsity lacrosse and soccer player at Hillsborough High School. She brings her experience from the college lacrosse environment into her coaching, focusing on strong fundamentals, defensive skills, game IQ, and preparing athletes for the next level.
From 2017-2020 Danielle served as the Director and Recruiting Coordinator of T3 West and Central locations, as well as Director of Player Development for the full club. She oversaw each of her students through the full recruiting process, with all of her players playing at the next level, whether that be D1, D2, or D3!
From 2015- 2017, Danielle was the Head Coach of Cedar Crest College and was also the Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Centenary College from 2014-2015.
Danielle played four years at Centenary and throughout her lacrosse career as a Cyclone, she is currently the All-Time Leader in points (253) and caused turnovers. She also ranks second in the record books in goals (199) and caused turnovers (70), third in assists (54) and fifth in draw controls (122) and groundballs (160). She was named to First Team All-CSAC in 2011 and 2012 along with CSAC Honorable Mention in 2010. She also was named Team MVP her junior year (2011).
Coach Lisa attended Lakeland/Panas High School in Westchester, NY, where she was a four year All-Section and All-League player. She was named All-American and Con Edison Athlete of the Year as a senior. Lisa continued her career at Rutgers University, where she was a 2x captain for the Scarlet Knights women’s lacrosse team. In 2005, she was inducted to the National College Athlete Honor Society. Savage was twice named to the IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll and was also recognized as a BIG EAST Academic All-Star for three straight years. Lisa has extensive coaching experience and is well respected in the lacrosse community. After serving as a grad assistant for the women’s lacrosse team at Rutgers, she became a head coach for Metro Lacrosse (2006-2021) where she also served as a college liaison, supporting high school athletes through their college recruiting process. Additionally, Lisa was an assistant varsity lacrosse coach at Summit High School (2008-2009) and the head varsity lacrosse coach at Kent Place (2010). Lisa is currently a head youth lacrosse coach with Junior Pioneers.
Coach Alex enjoyed a successful career playing for Hillsborough High School. She was a 3-year varsity player and, as a junior, was named to the USA National North Jersey team. Coach Alex moved on to Rowan University where she was an integral member of the women’s lacrosse team. After redshirting as a junior, due to an ACL injury, she returned to start every game of her senior season and led the team to a program best 14-4 record. Alex is a well respected high school coach. She was the head girls lacrosse coach at Immaculata High School (2019-2022), before assuming the role as head coach at her alma mater, Hillsborough High School (2023-present). Coach Alex has been lead instructor and head coach with NJ Total Lacrosse from its inception (2020-present). Prior to that, she was a coach with Ultimate Lacrosse (2017-2019). During the day, Alex is a preschool teacher at Hampton Public School (2019-present).
After a successful high school playing career at Downingtown East (PA), Coach Courtney starred as a member of the Wester Chester University Women’s Lacrosse team from 2007-2009. She was named a 2x captain (2008, 2009) and led the program to a DII National Championship in 2008. Courtney was honored as a 2x First Team All-American and ranks among the top 10 in WCU history in draw control, caused turnovers, and ground balls. Additionally, she was recognized as the 2009 PSAC Player of the Year and was selected to the 2009 IWLCA North-South Senior All-Star game. For her success on the field, Courtney was inducted into the Collegiate Hall of Fame in 2019. Coach Courtney has been involved in coaching lacrosse for the past 2 decades. She has spent time in various capacities as a youth coach with PA Express and SEPA Lacrosse, an assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Immaculata University, and a girls youth coach with Hillsborough Jr. Raiders.
Coach Mike has more than 2 decades of experience working with student-athletes. During his time as a middle school math teacher (1999-present) and head coach, Mike has had tremendous success developing individual players and teams. He has held various coaching positions at Bridgewater Raritan Middle School that include: Boys Lacrosse (2011-2025), Boys Basketball (2011-present), and Girls Soccer (2022-present), Girls Lacrosse (2025-present). In addition to these responsibilities, Coach Mike volunteers time as a youth coach (2015-present) He is a committed and experienced club coach for Knights Lacrosse Club (2013-present) and Total Select (2021-present). Coach Mike has worked hard to grow the game of lacrosse by introducing countless new players to the sport. Many of his former athletes have gone on to enjoy successful playing careers at the high school and college levels.
Coach Jenna started playing lacrosse at a young age. By 8th grade she was the starting goalie for her high school’s varsity team at East Rochester (NY). While there Jenna helped lead the group to Section V and Regional B Championships, as well as the state semifinals and sectional finals, while also being recognized as a 1st Team All-County performer. Jenna continued her career as a goalie at UConn, where she was a 4-year member of the women’s lacrosse program, starting almost every game of her career and being named a Big East Honor Roll selection. Jenna and her husband, Brendan Porter, moved to California shortly after marrying. There, Jenna coached for FCA and started her own lacrosse program, SoCal Lacrosse, running teams, camps, and clinics. Jenna and her family have since returned to the east coast, where she has been involved with coaching at the youth and club levels for the past 3 years.
As a player at Columbia High School (NJ), Coach Brendan earned New Jersey Boys Lacrosse All-America honors from US Lacrosse. Coach Porter attended Rutgers from 2007 to 2010 and was awarded the Rutgers Lacrosse Knight Cup in 2010. As a midfielder, he played in 51 games with six goals, 37 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers. Coach Brendan previously saw time in the MLL with the Boston Cannons and was a member of the LXM professional league. Brendan has considerable experience coaching boys’ and girls’ lacrosse at the youth, high school, and club levels.
While at Bridgewater Raritan High School, Coach Karen was a member of division, conference, and sectional championship teams. She was recognized as an All-State and All-American performer and led the Panthers to a 15-3 record and a top-10 state ranking during her senior year. Karen continued her career at TCNJ where she was a 4x All-American (twice named a 1st team selection) and carried the women’s lacrosse team to 2 National Championships (2005, 2006). Karen was selected to the NCAA All-Tournament Team (2006, 2008), was named to the ESPN the Magazine All-American Team (2008) and was honored as the 2008 IWLCA Division III Attack Player of the Year. From 2007-2010 Karen oversaw various aspects of girls programming for 2 Knights Lacrosse, where she was also a head coach. She is currently a volunteer coach with Bridgewater Recreation Youth Girls Lacrosse and is licensed as a BSA Club Soccer coach.
Coach Riccardi is entering his 12th year coaching girl’s lacrosse. He started coaching with the Jr. Raiders in 2015 and later joined the coaching staff for the Montgomery High School Girl’s Lacrosse program in 2016. During his time at Montgomery, Coach Riccardi worked as both a JV and Varsity assistant coach before taking over the program as the head coach just prior to the 2020 season. He has also coached varying levels of boy’s lacrosse, as well as youth and high school football. Over the years, Coach Riccardi has worked with several local club programs in varying capacities and has been a vital member of NJ Total Lacrosse staff, and ambassador for lacrosse in the Somerset/Hunterdon County areas.
A graduate and standout at Bridgewater-Raritan High School, Coach Andrea was a defensive captain for Rutgers University. During her time with the Knights, she started all but one game in her 63-game career. Coach Andrea finished her career with two goals and three assists to go along with 78 ground balls, 38 caused turnovers, and 28 draw controls. Coach Andrea was a Big East Academic All-Star. She holds a master’s degree in elementary and early childhood education. In addition to her playing experience, Andrea has coached at the high school, youth, and club levels. She currently oversees the development of our Total Futures team, composed of our youngest team members.
